Karen studied at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design where she obtained an honours degree in fine art. She is primarily concerned with aspects of the human figure and works mainly in charcoal, oils and pastels.

 

Karen has recently returned from the Middle East where she lived for many years drawing inspiration for her work from local culture, history and tradition.

 

She has exhibited widely in the region and her work is held in government ministries and by corporate and private clients in Europe and the Middle East.
